Cape Hatteras ranks #4 on Dr. Beach's top 10 list

Cape Hatteras National Seashore ranks #4 on the new list of the "Top Ten Beaches in America," an annual list compiled by Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, Director of Florida International University’s Laboratory for Coastal Research. Leatherman, aka Dr. Beach, uses fifty criteria to evaluate beaches, including environmental factors and recreational activities. Read more about the list on Dr. Beach's website.
